Who am I? I’m not famous. I’m not rich. In fact, I’m not even that funny. My life is not a roller coaster. It’s not filled with exciting experiences. But it’s simple, it’s fun and I love it. I am just like a lot of young women living life in Toronto, and all over the world. And maybe — hopefully — there’s something in that you can relate to.
I’m a working girl. I have a full time job at a place I quite like. I’ve been there for about two years now, and I can honestly say I still enjoy it. I work four days a week and I work in the evenings, which means I ‘technically’ have a lot of free time. I’d love to say that this free time is spent being productive, or creative, or even active, but it isn’t always.
I spend most of my afternoons and off days at home. Home is a place where I feel at ease, content and comfortable. It’s where I usually have piles of clothes in the corner of my bedroom, where our spare room is a giant mess of storage, and where the dining room table is usually covered in mail, purses and other random bags (pretty much always all mine). Home is where my family is. My fiancé and I enjoy A LOT of Netflix and chill, it’s one of our favourite things to do. His three teenagers can often be found in the kitchen, looking for food (and I do mean often!). Home is also where I enjoy hanging out with my furry little sidekick – our one and a half year old Golden Retriever, Jack. (WARNING: you’re going to hear a lot about him)
My life is not a drama-filled spectacle. I’m not as stylish as LC or the fabulous Jillian Harris. But maybe you’ll find something on here that speaks to you. Something small that can bring you happiness. Because, I believe, it’s all about the little things in life.
